Capital of the Languedoc - Roussillon,the nice city of Montpellier is the southern France crossroad. Leaving 9am
Morning: Visit of the History museum to meet the pilgrins of St. Jack of Compostella, who made the city rich. Walk around the historical center to see the its different squares: place St Roch, place de la comédie, Place du Peyrou. Discovery of St Pierre, Hôtel des trésoriers de la bourse, Jardin
des plantes, faculty of medicine, Arc du Triomphe, tour des Pins, aqueduc St Clément.
Midday: possibility to eat in a traditional restaurant where you could taste some special dishes such as the oreillettes à l'orange (menu for 12 euro).
Early in the afternoon: Visit of the Antigone, neoclassical district built in the ninties by the catalan architect Ricardo Bofil.
Late in the afternoon: Visit of the Flaugergues castle, its french and english garden. Recidence of Montpellier of the 18th siècle. Après tasting of the wines producted in the domain.
