Program: Leaving at 8am Morning: walk until the top of the Notre Dame de la Garde dom. Beautiful view of the city and the sea from the "Bonne mère", protector of people of Marseille Walk along the old harbour and on the Canebière (principal street of the city center).
Midday:
possibility to have lunch at the restaurant where to taste typical dishes of Marseille such as" les clovisses" (seashells), the "pieds paquets" and more the famous "bouillabaisse à l'aïoli " (menu from 15 euros).
After lunch: Boat trip from the old harbour until the island of If with its nice view on the port and the coast of Marseille.
Afternoon: Visit of the If castle, known as "l'Alcatraz de Marseille" ancient city prison. It was the place where the famous "Count of Montecristo", character of the Alexandre Dumas' roman, was imprisoned for 20 years. Return 7pm
